1) Village Hall - Dunsford Village Hall, Registered Charity Number 300819, "we", "our" "the hall", "premises"
2) Hirer - The person or organisation wishing to hire the Hall, "you", "your"
1) You must agree to and comply with the Village Hall Health and Safety policy and follow those procedures in the event of an incident. The policy can be seen here.
2) Breakages and any damage to equipment or fixtures and fittings on the premises will be charged to you.
3) The Car Park next to the Village Hall belongs to The Royal Oak and is not for the use of you or any persons associated with you or your event.
4) This Village Hall is in the heart of our village. When arriving for your event and leaving after it, please be aware of our neighbours and keep noise and disruption to a minimum, especially at night.
5) The Hire Period must include your setting up and preparation time and clearing away time after your event. Time will be charged in accordance with the current hire charges. Bookings will be charged to the nearest 30 minutes.
6) In addition to the hourly rate, a charge of £20 will be made for events that hold a Bar. You are responsible for having in place appropriate licencing arrangements.
7) For bookings made more than 6 months in advance, you will be invoiced for a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total hire fee. This is payable immediately.
8) Your booking is confirmed when the booking secretary responds to your request and all details have been agreed.
9) You must contact Karen Morris on 01647 252375 or 07969 093975 to arrange for key collection in advance of your booking. Failure to do so may lead to a lack of access.
10) We reserve the right to charge a refundable deposit of £10 in cash on collection of the key which will be refunded when the key is returned.
11) We reserve the right to make an additional charge of £25 for cleaning if the hall is not left clean and tidy after use.
12) Invoices are due for payment immediately. We reserve the right to charge a late payment fee of £10.
13) Stage equipment and lighting installed in the Village Hall is the property of DADS and must not be used without express permission from DADS copied to the Bookings Secretary
14) When entering the premises for your event, please refer to the leaflet displayed in the kitchen entitled "Using The Village Hall Safely" and abide by its guidance
