We are delighted to welcome back DYJO (they pronounce it 'die-jo') for a concert in the Village Hall on Sunday 28th April.

The concert will start at 4pm, with doors opening at 3:30pm. This is genuinely by public demand - the tickets sold out very quickly last year, and we have been asked many times if we could have them back. We didn't need much encouragement because they are brilliant!

If you haven't heard them play before don't miss out this year. Within seconds you completely forget they are school children playing and get caught up the music.

There will be a licensed bar providing beer, lager, cider and wine, with soft drinks available too. Thanks to Anne at The Teign House Inn for facilitating this.

DADS are back with their much loved annual Dunsford pantomime, entertaining audience members from all over Devon and beyond. This year we bring you Cinderella with an original script by Meg Sharland and directed by her big sister Chloe and is filled with a wonderful cast from the Teign Valley and surrounding areas.

On Saturday 16th September we held The Village Quiz in the Hall.

11 teams battled it out across 8 tense rounds.

Congratulations to Professor Mew's Curious Cats who won by 4 points, having come all the way from Topsham. The Village Eejit's came second and Isca Force came third. A discreet veil will be drawn over the wooden spoon winners.

24 would be dancers, some much more might be than others, enjoyed being taught to dance by Wendy Richards of Dance AM.

It was a lovely evening well fuelled by the bar, provided as ever by Anne at The Teign House.

Along the way we raised around £250 to fund the Hall.

We were delighted that the Devon Youth Jazz Orchestra appeared at the Village Hall.

Within minutes of hearing these very accomplished musicians play you forget entirely that they were children.

The Devon Youth Jazz Orchestra comprises the best of Devon’s young jazz musicians and is split into two separate bands. DYJO2, under the direction of Brian Moore, is the younger of the two bands, and is focused on the essentials of big band playing: ensemble skills in swing and many other grooves, and the fundamentals of jazz soloing. DYJO1, with Graham Hutton, is the senior band, and aims to stretch the players’ skills in all directions in a wide range of repertoire, and to raise them to a standard of playing comparable with the best youth big bands in the country.

This event was generously sponsored by Moor Park Garage and raised around £750 for the Hall.

The nearly new sales was held on 11th March at the Village Hall to raise funds for the maintenance and development of the Village Hall.

There were many volunteers on hand to sort through the generous donations and lay out the tables ahead of the public being let in at 1:30pm.

There was a queue building up from around 1pm, and all fingers were crossed that it would be a good event.

Teas and coffees were on sale together with delicious cakes.

The afternoon went very quickly and so much was sold. We couldn't believe how much was taken as most items were £1 or £2 each.

In the evening we used ZIFFIT to sell some of the remaining books which raised £40 bringing us to the grand total of £900.

Thanks to Julia Kirkland and Sunya Burnham for arranging it and all the volunteers who helped. It was a great effort.
