Dunsford Village Hall

Nick has lived in the village for nearly 8 years and joined the Committee in 2020.

He is treasurer of St Mary's Church, a Trustee of the Teign Valley Museum and Archive Trust and Chair of the Teign Valley Tennis Club. He sits on the DADS committee and The History Group committee.

Nick "retired" from a career in IT Consultancy in 2020. He writes websites for local businesses and groups for fun.

Born and bred in Devon, growing up in Brampford Speke. I have been in the Village for 17 years, Secretary of the DVH for 10 years. Worked for many corporate companies as an HR Business Partner and more recently as a HR & Training Manager in a care home in Torquay which I love. I joined the DVH to help in a small way to keep our local amenities open and available to all.

Bev moved to Devon over 30 years ago, raised 2 children and had several animals join her family over the years. From a secretarial background, a change of career working for the RSPCA, then found herself running 2 businesses, she has also been Treasurer for Dunsford Amateur Dramatic Society and Dunsford Village Hall for a number of years.

I have lived in Dunsford since 2000 and in that time have worked at the school, ran the preschool for 6 years and now run the Post Office and Village Shop (since 2013). I am also currently a Parish councillor and an active Member of Dunsford Amateur Dramatic Society. In my spare time I am a Scout Leader, and like to sing with children and run workshops at local folk festivals.

I am Janet Beech, I have lived in Dunsford for over 30 years. During this time I have served on several different village committees ranging from Parish Council to Acorn Community Support.

Sunya has lived in Dunsford since 1994 and joined the Village Hall Committee 8 years ago. Now retired, Sunya spent 25 years working for Local Authorities, Housing Associations and local charities helping people with housing, debt and benefit related problems. Sunya enjoys artwork and walking her dog as well as gardening and helping older friends.

Matt has been on the committee since 2022. He is the Parish Council representative

Becky from Wiltshire moved to the Teign Valley in 2015 and joined the Committee in 2023. Mummy to 3, all whom attend the village school, trained Norland Nanny but now run an Antiques business and work in Customer Services for a student property business. In my spare time I love walking with our dogs on the moors.
